More About Me
Hi:) My real name is Jennifer Roundy. I chose a pen name, not because I’m trying to hide my identity but because I felt like Jenna Rose sounds much more ‘musical’ than Jennifer Roundy.
I love all things Music. From early childhood I have had a deep interest in it. I see beauty and art in looking at instruments, and sheet music etc. I’m the person who squeals over piano keys, music symbols, and even the word music. I was taught a few of the basics on the piano from my mother, and grandmothers, and was encouraged by my older sister to keep learning and practicing. I can’t stand to pass up an opportunity to play around and dink on any instrument I can get my hands on. I have played around with many different instruments, but have mostly just stuck with Piano, Violin, and Flute. I have never been taught professionally in notation or composition etc. All that said, my music style is very simple, but it comes directly from the heart. I hope that my music will add happiness, peace, and/or beauty to someone out there.
